??\u00a0Torre is in this place where since time immemorial a castrexa village was located and later a medieval fortress, due to being one of the few high places from where a large part of the plain could be seen. It is called Torre do Castro or Tower of Watermelons. Its construction began around the 11th or 12th centuries with the aim of monitoring the Lagoa de Antela. For this reason, three more towers were built: Pena da Portela, Porqueira and Celme.<\/p>\n

Torre, en este lugar desde tiempos inmemoriales estuvo situado un poblado castrexo y m\u00e1s tarde una fortaleza medieval, por ser uno de los pocos lugares altos desde donde se divisaba gran parte de la llanura. Se llama Torre do Castro o Torre de las Sand\u00edas. Su construcci\u00f3n se inici\u00f3 alrededor de los siglos XI o XII con el objetivo de vigilar la \u201cLagoa de Antela\u201d.
