??\u00a0When faced with the question of what tasks I have carried out, I find myself struggling to answer. The sheer number of them makes it difficult to choose. I have walked on the Camino, I have collected rubbish and done multiple other things to promote more sustainable practices. I have been to intercultural events, and have met so many love people along the way. I hope that my impact on both the people and the activities was just as significant as their impact on me.<\/p>\n
I suppose the most significant event that I recall with extreme fondness, not to mention clarity, was meeting and conversing with three pilgrims from Ireland when collecting trash and putting up posters on a fine Tuesday morning. Knowing vague information about something could not possibly compare to having it right in front of your own eyes, recounted in a vivacity which goes beyond any imagination. I got to hear about the struggle, the personal reasoning behind walking hundreds of kilometres; I got to discover the beauty of the unknown, and the charm of an absolutely solitary lifestyle. As for anecdotes, I could not possibly count. Being in the presence of a multinational group of people is bound to lead to some priceless moments, if one only counts the hilarious linguistic mishaps that happen not nearly often enough.<\/p>\n
All of the above are bound to lead to some self exploration of my own. I have learnt how to be more patient, how to be more understanding, and how to trust my own plethora of resources in a way that I had never been able to do before. Having said that, I would love to learn more about how I could make the experience on the camino even more enjoyable for people with cognitive difficulties, since I think it is an issue that is not address nearly enough.<\/p>\n
As is true for all types of learning, initiative is necessary. Mine came in the form of discovering the Camino as well as possible, in order to be better equipped to inform people about it. I have walked the extra mile, both literally and figuratively, in order to be able to promote it both internally and externally. I suppose initiative and progress are all great ideas in theory, yet practice is a different narrative. My most recurrent difficulty therefore, was just that. How to put all of the potential ideas into a more applicable context.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, I continue to feel very, very hopeful that I will be able to offer my insight in an impactful way and that the same will also be received on a more intimately personal level.<\/p>\n

Supongo que el hecho m\u00e1s significativo que recuerdo con extremo cari\u00f1o, por no decir claridad, fue encontrarme y conversar con tres peregrinos de Irlanda mientras recog\u00edan basura y pegaban carteles en una hermosa ma\u00f1ana de martes. Conocer informaci\u00f3n vaga sobre algo no podr\u00eda compararse con tenerlo justo frente a tus propios ojos, contado con una vivacidad que va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de cualquier imaginaci\u00f3n. Pude escuchar sobre la lucha, el razonamiento personal detr\u00e1s de caminar cientos de kil\u00f3metros; Pude descubrir la belleza de lo desconocido y el encanto de un estilo de vida absolutamente solitario. En cuanto a an\u00e9cdotas, no podr\u00eda contarlas. Estar en presencia de un grupo multinacional de personas seguramente conducir\u00e1 a algunos momentos invaluables, si solo se cuentan los divertidos percances ling\u00fc\u00edsticos que ocurren con poca frecuencia.<\/p>\n
Todo lo anterior est\u00e1 destinado a llevarme a una autoexploraci\u00f3n propia. He aprendido a ser m\u00e1s paciente, a ser m\u00e1s comprensiva y a confiar en mi propia cartera de recursos de una manera que nunca antes hab\u00eda podido hacer. Dicho esto, me encantar\u00eda aprender m\u00e1s sobre c\u00f3mo podr\u00eda hacer que la experiencia del camino sea a\u00fan m\u00e1s agradable para las personas con dificultades cognitivas, ya que creo que es un tema que no se aborda lo suficiente.<\/p>\n
Como ocurre con todos los tipos de aprendizaje, la iniciativa es necesaria. La m\u00eda vino en la forma de descubrir el Camino lo mejor posible, para estar mejor equipados para informar a la gente sobre \u00e9l. He caminado la milla extra, tanto literal como figurativamente, para poder promocionarlo tanto interna como externamente. Supongo que la iniciativa y el progreso son grandes ideas en teor\u00eda, pero la pr\u00e1ctica es una narrativa diferente. Mi dificultad m\u00e1s recurrente, por lo tanto, era precisamente esa.
