Ola! <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">My name is Agnese and I recently started my volunteer work ESC project in Neda (Ferrol). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">I will be here for the next two months, so I decided to introduce myself a bit and also write down some first impressions. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">I&#8217;ll start by saying that I&#8217;m from Latvia, I live in a small town &#8211; Kuldiga! <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">One of the facts worth mentioning &#8211; that in Kuldiga is located the widest waterfall in Europe &#8220;Ventas rumba&#8221;. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is about 100-110 meters wide. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Did you know that? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(: <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Before that, some things about me &#8211; I like to be in nature, gardening, hiking and good literature (Currently Haruki Murakami books are my favorite readings.) I like to travel and also local tourism.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">So now &#8211; about the first impressions of Ferrol and project itself.\u00a0 In Ferrol you can see a lot of charming corners and hidden spaces. One of the first things I noticed was the unique and specific architecture here &#8211; houses with wooden and glass cabins\/balconies (mostly white) and I was also surprised to see some really outstanding Art Nouveau buildings, one good example- Casa del Banco Simeon. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">By far my favorite place here is the Baluarte de san Juan and the view from there to the city and port. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">I also really want to visit Castillo de San Felipe, that&#8217;s on my list for the next few days.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">About the project &#8211; at the moment I&#8217;m just starting to understand a little more what is what, the beginning is a bit difficult for me. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But looking at the bright side- so far i have walked a small path of Camino de Ingles, visited the Hostel for pilgrims in Neda, and took a part in a clean up\/waste collecting activity in Neda with my team (:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">See you soon!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>?? \u00a1Hola! Mi nombre es Agnese y recientemente comenc\u00e9 mi proyecto de voluntariado ESC en Neda (Ferrol). Estar\u00e9 aqu\u00ed durante los pr\u00f3ximos meses, as\u00ed que decid\u00ed presentarme un poco y tambi\u00e9n escribir algunas primeras impresiones.<br \/>\nComenzar\u00e9 diciendo que soy de Letonia, vivo en un peque\u00f1o pueblo: Kuldiga. Uno de los datos a destacar es que en Kuldiga se encuentra la cascada m\u00e1s ancha de Europa &#8220;Ventas rumba&#8221;. Mide unos 100-110 metros de ancho. \u00bfSab\u00eda usted que? (:<br \/>\nAntes de eso, algunas cosas sobre m\u00ed: me gusta estar en la naturaleza, la jardiner\u00eda, el senderismo y la buena literatura (Actualmente, los libros de Haruki Murakami son mis lecturas favoritas). Me gusta viajar y tambi\u00e9n el turismo local.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces, ahora sobre las primeras impresiones de Ferrol y el proyecto en s\u00ed. En Ferrol puedes ver un mont\u00f3n de rincones y espacios escondidos con encanto. Una de las primeras cosas que not\u00e9 fue la arquitectura \u00fanica y espec\u00edfica aqu\u00ed: casas con caba\u00f1as\/balcones hechos de madera y vidrio (en su mayor\u00eda blancos) y tambi\u00e9n me sorprendi\u00f3 ver algunos edificios Art Nouveau realmente sobresalientes, un buen ejemplo: la Casa del Banco Simeon. De lejos, mi lugar favorito aqu\u00ed es el Baluarte de san Juan y la vista desde all\u00ed hacia la ciudad y el puerto. Tambi\u00e9n tengo muchas ganas de visitar el Castillo de San Felipe, eso est\u00e1 en mi lista para los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre el proyecto &#8211; en este momento estoy empezando a entender un poco m\u00e1s qu\u00e9 es qu\u00e9, el comienzo es un poco dif\u00edcil para m\u00ed. Pero mirando el lado positivo, hasta ahora he recorrido un peque\u00f1o sendero en el Camino de Ingl\u00e9s, he visitado el albergue de peregrinos en Neda y he participado en una actividad de limpieza\/recogida de residuos en Neda con mi equipo (:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a1Te veo pronto!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>??
