Last month we visited Bueu.<\/p>\n<p>Ribadavia is a beautiful little town full on vineyards and history. It actually used to be the capital of Kingdom of Galicia between 1065 &#8211; 1071. To prove that they have rich history, they actually have a festival called &#8220;Festa da Istoria&#8221; or &#8220;Festival of History&#8221;, where most of the inhabitants dress up in old time clothes to try to recreate the atmosphere of old times. They even use a special currency called maravedi during the festival.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it was a really nice experience and I was surprised in a positive way.<\/p>\n<p>??\u00a0El s\u00e1bado 24 de septiembre tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar Ribadavia y Pazos de Arenteiro gracias al Ayuntamiento de Arz\u00faa, que cada mes organiza una excursi\u00f3n de un d\u00eda para los vecinos de la zona y ha tenido la amabilidad de invitarnos de forma gratuita. El mes pasado visitamos Bueu.<\/p>\n<p>Ribadavia es un precioso pueblito lleno de vi\u00f1edos e historia. De hecho, sol\u00eda ser la capital del Reino de Galicia entre 1065 y 1071. Para demostrar que tienen una rica historia, en realidad tienen un festival llamado &#8220;Festa da Istoria&#8221; o &#8220;Festival de la Historia&#8221;, donde la mayor\u00eda de los habitantes se visten de ropa de anta\u00f1o para intentar recrear el ambiente de anta\u00f1o.
