??\u00a0The last weeks are here and it means it’s time to wrap up things in the project, and in my personal life. It was time to visit the places I like in Ferrol, do some sports, enjoy nature, and have my last adventure.<\/p>\n

This week we had numerous activities. The activities that stood out the most was preparing and spreading the ‘seed bombs’, and doing our exhibition. All in all it was a fun and active week.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was a great success. Everyone made very interesting works and it was joy to experience making of it. By the end\u00a0 of our presentation event, we shared cultural foods, and were introduced to a special cultural drink called ‘queimada’. It was a strong mix of alcohol, sugar, and lemons – not my usual taste of preference. But the most interesting aspect of it I found was the ritual associated with it. As it was being prepared, people chanted some mystical poem, and when it was time to drink, it was recommended to think of something one wants to let go from their life. Rituals and practices like this are the things that give spice to life.<\/p>\n

??\u00a0Han llegado las \u00faltimas semanas y eso significa que es hora de terminar las cosas en el proyecto, y en mi vida personal. Ha llegado el momento de visitar los lugares que me gustan en Ferrol, hacer algo de deporte, disfrutar de la naturaleza y vivir mi \u00faltima aventura.<\/p>\n

Esta semana tuvimos numerosas actividades. Las actividades que m\u00e1s destacaron fueron preparar y esparcir las “bombas de semillas”, y hacer nuestra exposici\u00f3n. En general fue una semana divertida y activa.<\/p>\n

La exposici\u00f3n fue un gran \u00e9xito. Todo el mundo hizo obras muy interesantes y fue una alegr\u00eda experimentar su realizaci\u00f3n. Al final de nuestro evento de presentaci\u00f3n, compartimos comidas culturales, y nos presentaron una bebida cultural especial llamada ‘queimada’. Era una fuerte mezcla de alcohol, az\u00facar y limones, que no es mi gusto habitual. Pero el aspecto m\u00e1s interesante que encontr\u00e9 fue el ritual asociado a ella. Mientras se preparaba, la gente cantaba alg\u00fan poema m\u00edstico, y cuando llegaba el momento de beber, se recomendaba pensar en algo que uno quisiera dejar ir de su vida. Este tipo de rituales y pr\u00e1cticas son los que dan sabor a la vida.<\/p>\n
