In a beautiful morning for walking, we walked a small part of the camino with children from the local elementary school. We started just outside the door of their school, from where the camino passes.<\/p>\n

En una hermosa ma\u00f1ana para caminar, recorrimos una peque\u00f1a parte del camino con los ni\u00f1os de la escuela primaria local. Comenzamos justo afuera de la puerta de su escuela, por donde pasa el camino.<\/p>\n

Credenciales for the young pilgrims<\/h1>\n

In the beggining we handed them their own pilgrim credentials. They got a stamp for every \u00a8Camino-related\u00a8thing they found. No need to say that they filled it up very very quickly.<\/p>\n

Credenciales para los j\u00f3venes peregrinos<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al principio les entregamos sus propias credenciales de peregrinos. Consiguieron un sello por cada cosa \u00a8relacionada con el Camino\u00a8 que encontraron. No hace falta decir que lo llenaron muy, muy r\u00e1pido.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Camino<\/h1>\n

After a little while of walking, we reached a very beautiful viewing point just outside of A R\u00faa. There we did an activity with the children, in order to let them know how much time do garbage, often found on the camino, need to disolve. The goal of the activity was to make them more envirometally aware and to explain the importance of keeping the Camino clean.<\/p>\n

Camino Sostenible<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de caminar un rato llegamos a un mirador muy bonito a las afueras de A R\u00faa. All\u00ed hicimos una actividad con los ni\u00f1os, para hacerles saber cu\u00e1nto tiempo necesita la basura, que muchas veces se encuentra en el camino, para disolverse. El objetivo de la actividad era sensibilizarlos m\u00e1s con el medio ambiente y explicarles la importancia de mantener limpio el Camino.<\/p>\n

Goal Achieved!<\/h1>\n

The activities on the Camino proved to be really really eficient for both the children and the volunteer team. We observed how the children interacted with a very important piece of their local heritage and they learned ways to take care of it. It was an amazing experience playing and learning with them.<\/p>\n

\u00a1Objetivo alcanzado!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Las actividades en el Camino demostraron ser realmente eficientes tanto para los ni\u00f1os como para el equipo de voluntarios. Observamos c\u00f3mo los ni\u00f1os interactuaban con una pieza muy importante de su patrimonio local y aprendieron formas de cuidarla. Fue una experiencia incre\u00edble jugar y aprender con ellos.<\/p>\n
