?? The first days in Triacastela have been amazing. Already driving here was I taken aback by the picturesque \u00a0mountains surrounding every point of our view. The humid air of Galicia makes the trees super lush and gives a feeling of being somewhere in South America. The village is small and serene, reflected also in the calm way of the locals, making it pleasantly easy to connect with them.<\/p>\n
Our group gets along really well, although we’re all from different ages and backgrounds. We’ve talked about our culture back home, such as local cuisine, music, and in general the way of life. Learning Spanish is one of my goals in this project and it’s already going well. Living in this environment it comes quite naturally, you just find yourself asking “how’s that in Spanish” all the time.<\/p>\n
El verano en Espa\u00f1a – magicalo.<\/p>\n
?? Los primeros d\u00edas en Triacastela han sido incre\u00edbles. Ya conduciendo aqu\u00ed me sorprendieron las pintorescas monta\u00f1as que rodean cada punto de nuestra vista. El aire h\u00famedo de Galicia hace que los \u00e1rboles sean s\u00faper frondosos y da la sensaci\u00f3n de estar en alg\u00fan lugar de Am\u00e9rica del Sur. El pueblo es peque\u00f1o y sereno, lo que se refleja tambi\u00e9n en la forma tranquila de los lugare\u00f1os, lo que hace que sea agradablemente f\u00e1cil conectarse con ellos.<\/p>\n
Nuestro grupo se lleva muy bien, aunque todos somos de diferentes edades y procedencias. Hemos hablado sobre nuestra cultura en casa, la cocina local, la m\u00fasica y, en general, la forma de vida. Aprender espa\u00f1ol es uno de mis objetivos en este proyecto y ya va bien. Vivir en este entorno es bastante natural, simplemente te encuentras preguntando todo el tiempo “\u00bfc\u00f3mo es eso en espa\u00f1ol?”.<\/p>\n
