?? Yesterday was the first day on the camino de la plata and as a team we decided to start by acting in the sustainability area. We started our day at 8:30am and even at that hour was getting pretty hot. Nevertheless, we continued our journey. On the way there, at least I didn’t find much trash on the floor. However, when we put our gloves on and open the plastic bags, the story had a sort of plot-twist. We started the serch in the woods and surprisingly this first part was very clean. To find something we needed to go a bit into de sides and still was hard to find something. As we kept returning back and looking even more carefully, we started to find new things in a considerable amount. Among all the trash we found on the woods, the most commmon was: some small blue pieces of plastic, some\u00a0 things, which I don’t know what was made from and we also found a piece of toilet paper. A curious thing that I found was that, whereas in the wood the type of the trash we found was more plastic, in the road the majority of it was cigarettes and lighters.<\/p>\n
In our camino exists a taberna and last week, when we passed by, we didn’t noticed if it was dirty or not, so of course when we went through yesterday searching for trash we found much more than we expected. A big amount of cigarettes and a even bigger one of beer bottles. We cleaned almost all of it and then we decided to do a pause of 15 minutes. After, we ended up finding some pilgrims from Catalunia, who needed help to know the time till the albergue. As we were getting till the end, we found a bottle of glass among other things.<\/p>\n
At the end, yes it was tiring because the walk is still a bit, but it was pretty rewarding to have the job done.<\/p>\n
?? Ayer fue el primer d\u00eda en el camino de la plata y en equipo decidimos empezar actuando en el \u00e1rea de sustentabilidad. Comenzamos nuestro d\u00eda a las 8:30 am e incluso a esa hora hac\u00eda bastante calor. Sin embargo, continuamos nuestro viaje. De camino all\u00ed, no encontr\u00e9 mucha basura en el suelo. Sin embargo, cuando nos pusimos los guantes y abrimos las bolsas de pl\u00e1stico, la historia tuvo una especie de giro argumental. Empezamos la b\u00fasqueda en el bosque y sorprendentemente esta primera parte estaba muy limpia. Para encontrar algo necesit\u00e1bamos adentrarnos un poco en los lados y aun as\u00ed era dif\u00edcil encontrar algo. A medida que volv\u00edamos y mir\u00e1bamos con m\u00e1s cuidado, empezamos a encontrar cosas nuevas en una cantidad considerable. Entre toda la basura que encontramos en el bosque, lo m\u00e1s com\u00fan fue: unos peque\u00f1os pl\u00e1sticos azules, unas cosas, que no s\u00e9 de qu\u00e9 estaban hechas y tambi\u00e9n encontramos un trozo de papel higi\u00e9nico. Una cosa curiosa que encontr\u00e9 fue que, mientras que en el bosque el tipo de basura que encontramos fue m\u00e1s pl\u00e1stico, en el camino la mayor\u00eda eran cigarrillos y encendedores.<\/p>\n
En nuestro camino existe una taberna y la semana pasada, cuando pasamos por all\u00ed, no nos dimos cuenta si estaba sucia, as\u00ed que claro que cuando pasamos ayer buscando basura encontramos mucha m\u00e1s de la que esper\u00e1bamos. Una gran cantidad de cigarrillos y otra a\u00fan mayor de botellas de cerveza. Limpiamos casi todo y luego decidimos hacer una pausa de 15 minutos. Finalmente, acabamos encontrando unos peregrinos de Catalu\u00f1a, que necesitaban ayuda para saber el tiempo hasta el albergue. Cuando nos acerc\u00e1bamos al final, encontramos una botella de vidrio entre otras cosas.<\/p>\n
Al final, s\u00ed, fue agotador por la caminata, pero fue bastante gratificante haber hecho el trabajo.<\/p>\n
