<\/p>\n?? From the previous week our team, in Lalin, has been working on organising and preparing for a special visit.
\nSo, this Wednesday, 27th of July, we visited the “Aspadeza Asociaci\u00f3n de Padres de Disminuidos Psiquicos de la Comarca de Deza”. Aspadeza is a day centre in Lalin where adults with various developmental disabilities are being creatively occupied, receiving appropriate care, therapy and even employment opportunities.<\/p>\n
Our visit was an Intercultural exchange of traditions, knowledge, music and, of course, some food.
\nThe people at the center were so welcoming and warm, they made us feel so good. Even though we couldn\u00b4t see their smiles underneath the masks we knew they were as happy to have us,as we were to be there.
\nEach one of us had prepared a presentation and a “workshop” to present about their country.<\/p>\n
Personally, i decided to have them experiment with the greek alphabet, trying to write their names in greek letters. Everyone seemed to enjoy the process, as they were colouring the letters and reading their names and showing eachother. I was really happy to see this.
\nAfter, it was time for the greek salad, an easy but yet to typical dish of Greece that i thought was fitting to prepare for this day.<\/p>\n

??\u00a0Durante una semana nuestro equipo, en Lal\u00edn, ha estado trabajando en la organizaci\u00f3n y preparaci\u00f3n de una visita especial.<\/p>\n
As\u00ed, este mi\u00e9rcoles 27 de julio visitamos la \u201cAspadeza- Asociaci\u00f3n de Padres de Disminuidos Psiquicos de la Comarca de Deza\u201d. Aspadeza es un centro de d\u00eda en Lal\u00edn donde adultos con diversas discapacidades del desarrollo est\u00e1n siendo ocupados creativamente, recibiendo atenci\u00f3n adecuada, terapia e incluso oportunidades de empleo.<\/p>\n
Nuestra visita fue un intercambio intercultural de tradiciones, conocimientos, m\u00fasica y, por supuesto, algo de comida.<\/p>\n
La gente del centro fue muy acogedora y c\u00e1lida, nos hizo sentir muy bien. Aunque no pod\u00edamos ver sus sonrisas debajo de las m\u00e1scaras, sab\u00edamos que estaban tan felices de tenernos como nosotros de estar all\u00ed.<\/p>\n
Cada uno de nosotros hab\u00eda preparado una presentaci\u00f3n y un \u201ctaller\u201d para exponer sobre su pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n
Personalmente, decid\u00ed que experimentaran con el alfabeto griego, tratando de escribir sus nombres en letras griegas. Todos parec\u00edan disfrutar el proceso, mientras coloreaban las letras y le\u00edan sus nombres y se los mostraban unos a otros. Estaba muy feliz de ver esto.<\/p>\n
Despu\u00e9s, lleg\u00f3 el momento de la ensalada griega, un plato f\u00e1cil pero t\u00edpico de Grecia que pens\u00e9 que era apropiado preparar para este d\u00eda.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
