Some of the tasks we are doing in the Xacobeando project are cleaning activities of different sections of the Camino, creation of digital resources about the experiences on the Camino, minimization of physical obstacles that hinder the accessibility of the Camino, dissemination of the opportunities offered by the ESC, hospitality work as we work in different parts of Galicia in hostels where pilgrims stay with the intention of helping where we can.<\/p>\n
One of the experiences that I liked the most was meeting all the volunteers and coordinators in the Don Bosco center, they are all very good and those days were incredible for me. And one of the ones that made me laugh the most was the day we all wanted to take a group photo and a big wasp (or so I think) wouldn’t leave us alone, between my panic and the monitor who had allergies, well, I already you imagine the panorama, in short…<\/p>\n
These weeks are helping me to become aware of the importance of taking care of nature among all, living with people from different parts of the world but being honest, above all it is helping me to improve my self-esteem and generosity. One of the things I would like to improve is my level of English, to learn to work with people who have physical disabilities, to learn to empathize more with others?<\/p>\n
To be honest, being my first volunteer I feel a little worried because I don’t know if what I am doing is going to be of any use, and I realize that I still depend a lot on my family and friends because I can’t spend much time without them. I give thanks for the good people who have been my roommates, I love them very much and when I have a bad day they always make me laugh.<\/p>\n
The ESC has given us a great opportunity from what other volunteers can offer us, there are only two months but full of emotions and learning.<\/p>\n

Algunas de las tareas que estamos realizando en el proyecto Xacobeando son actividades de limpieza de diferentes tramos del Camino, creaci\u00f3n de recursos digitales sobre las experiencias en el Camino, minimizaci\u00f3n de los obst\u00e1culos f\u00edsicos que dificultan la accesibilidad del Camino, difusi\u00f3n de las oportunidades que ofrece el CES, labores de hospitalidad ya que trabajamos en diferentes puntos de Galicia en los albergues donde se alojan los peregrinos con la intenci\u00f3n de ayudar en lo que podamos.<\/p>\n
Una de las experiencias que m\u00e1s me gust\u00f3 fue conocer a todos los voluntarios y coordinadores del centro Dos Bosco, son todos muy buenos y esos d\u00edas fueron incre\u00edbles para m\u00ed. Y una de las que m\u00e1s me hizo re\u00edr fue el d\u00eda en que quer\u00edamos echarnos una foto todos en grupo y una gran avispa (o eso creo) no nos dejaba tranquilos, entre mi p\u00e1nico que tengo y la monitora que ten\u00eda alergia, pues ya os imagin\u00e1is el panorama, en fin…<\/p>\n
Estas semanas me est\u00e1n sirviendo para concienciarme de la importancia de cuidar la naturaleza entre todos, convivir con gente de diferentes partes del mundo pero ser honesta, sobre todo me est\u00e1 ayudando a mejorar mi autoestima y generosidad. Una de las cosas que me gustar\u00eda mejorar es mi nivel de ingl\u00e9s, aprender a trabajar con personas que tienen discapacidades f\u00edsicas, aprender a empatizar m\u00e1s con los dem\u00e1s?<\/p>\n
Para ser sincera, al ser mi primer voluntariado me siento un poco preocupada porque no s\u00e9 si lo que estoy haciendo va a servir de algo, y me doy cuenta de que todav\u00eda dependo mucho de mi familia y amigos porque no puedo pasar mucho tiempo sin ellos. Doy gracias por las personas tan buenas que me han tocado de compa\u00f1eros de piso, los quiero mucho y cuando tengo un mal d\u00eda siempre me hacen reir.<\/p>\n
El CES nos ha brindado una gran oportunidad diferente a la que otros voluntariados pueden brindarnos, son solo dos meses pero llenos de emociones y aprendizajes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
