?? This week we managed to do many interesting activities.<\/p>\n

We cleaned the camino, we explored the camino.<\/p>\n

We are going to be featured on Radio Lal\u00edn, we are going to be famous. For that we had to record introductive voice clips of ourselves.<\/p>\n

We are going to do an environmental workshop, so we have to plan for that. It’s going to be for kids from the age of 8-12. The commercial for this workshop is going to be on the radio as well. We decided to go old-fashioned and make physical posters and tape them all around Lal\u00edn.<\/p>\n

Also, we made a walk from Lal\u00edn to Silleda (around 14km). It\u2019s on the Silver way and I would say with a very calming natural environment. Sometimes the narrow path leads you into the middle of the woods, to find a picturesque river or either an abandoned house taken over by the wildlife, making it seem like you are exploring a jungle. Other times you can find huge bridges or small ones, like Ponte Taboada, dating from the 12th century.<\/p>\n

We visited an elderly home called Domus Vi, where we did presentations about our home countries, similar to the ones we made at the Aspadeza organisation. I also taught the residents how to braid a bracelet, but it turned some of the locals were utterly skilled and made their own variations on the braiding technique. It was a nice experience and they also gave us really good food.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the weather calms down in Lal\u00edn and then we can enjoy, as the locals tell us, the real Galician summer, with temperatures climbing as high as 17 degrees. Rain is also included, in two options, either heavy rainfall or misty sprinkles. For me it reminded of Estonian summer\u00a0 and I enjoyed going for a walk after the hot period.<\/p>\n

Our supervisor Santi told us that we\u2019re going to meet the other group who resides in Arz\u00faa. And finally our host Julio promsied to make an authentic Galician queimada for us before we will leave!<\/p>\n

?? Esta semana logramos hacer muchas actividades interesantes. Limpiamos\u00a0 y exploramos el camino.<\/p>\n

Salimos en Radio Lal\u00edn, vamos a ser famosos!. Para eso, tuvimos que grabar clips de voz introductorios sobre nosotros mismos.<\/p>\n

Vamos a hacer un taller ambiental, as\u00ed que tenemos que planificarlo. Ser\u00e1 para ni\u00f1os de 8 a 12 a\u00f1os. El anuncio de este taller tambi\u00e9n va a estar en la radio. Decidimos ir a la antigua y hacer carteles f\u00edsicos y pegarlos por todo Lal\u00edn.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, hicimos una caminata desde Lal\u00edn hasta Silleda (alrededor de 14 km). Est\u00e1 en el Camino de la Plata y dir\u00eda que con un entorno natural muy tranquilo. A veces, el camino angosto lo lleva al medio del bosque, para encontrar un r\u00edo pintoresco o una casa abandonada invadida por la vida silvestre, lo que hace que parezca que est\u00e1 explorando una jungla. Otras veces puedes encontrar puentes enormes o peque\u00f1os, como el Ponte Taboada, que data del siglo XII.<\/p>\n

Visitamos un hogar de ancianos llamado Domus Vi, donde hicimos presentaciones sobre nuestros pa\u00edses de origen, similares a las que hicimos en la organizaci\u00f3n Aspadeza. Tambi\u00e9n les ense\u00f1\u00e9 a los residentes c\u00f3mo trenzar un brazalete, pero result\u00f3 que algunos de los lugare\u00f1os eran muy h\u00e1biles e hicieron sus propias variaciones en la t\u00e9cnica del trenzado. Fue una experiencia agradable y tambi\u00e9n nos dieron muy buena comida.<\/p>\n

A veces el tiempo se calma en Lal\u00edn y entonces podemos disfrutar, como nos cuentan los lugare\u00f1os, del aut\u00e9ntico verano gallego, con temperaturas que alcanzan los 17 grados. La lluvia tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 incluida, en dos opciones, ya sea lluvia fuerte o roc\u00edo brumoso. A m\u00ed me record\u00f3 al verano de Estonia y disfrut\u00e9 de dar un paseo despu\u00e9s del per\u00edodo caluroso.<\/p>\n

Nuestro supervisor Santi nos dijo que nos vamos a reunir con el otro grupo que reside en Arz\u00faa. \u00a1Y finalmente, nuestro anfitri\u00f3n Julio prometi\u00f3 hacernos una aut\u00e9ntica queimada gallega antes de irnos!<\/p>\n
