?? In past few days I had the opportunity to discover the surroundings of Ferrol.<\/p>\n

On Friday we went to the mid-term evaluation in Santiago with the rest of the volunteers from block 3, it was a really good to see all the group back together and to talk about how it\u2019s going the project for each one of us. We did some activities to see if the project was going in the right direction and if we had any advice to improve the next month here, both for the organization and the single groups.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We also met the volunteers from block 4, and it was a really good chance for us to relive the excitement of the beginning and for them to listen to some important advice by someone who has already entered the activities.<\/p>\n

On Saturday I went with my friends to A Coruna, the first stop was in a typical seafood restaurant where we tried some traditional galician dishes. Then we took the bus to go to the Hercules tower, and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful places I\u2019ve seen since I\u2019m here, on the top of the hill was really windy but when we went down to the rose of the winds lower, there was a perfect climate and a breathtaking view.<\/p>\n

As we had the bus after a couple of hours we decided to walk to the bus station, taking the opportunity to visit the city, we went to the main square and we had a break for a coffee in a cafeteria before coming back home.<\/p>\n

Sunday the weather wasn\u2019t on our side, but it was the typical galician climate with the drizzle and the wind so we took the ferry to go to Mugardos for lunch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since we\u2019ve been here, everybody\u2019s talking about octopus made in the Mugardesa way, so we went there specifically to try this dish. I was not disappointed, everything was really good even if I had to choose I wouldn\u2019t choose seafood.<\/p>\n

?? En d\u00edas pasados \u200b\u200btuve la oportunidad de conocer los alrededores de Ferrol.<\/p>\n

El viernes fuimos a la evaluaci\u00f3n intermedia en Santiago con el resto de los voluntarios del bloque 3, fue muy bueno ver a todo el grupo de nuevo juntos y hablar de c\u00f3mo va el proyecto para cada uno de nosotros. Hicimos algunas actividades para ver si el proyecto iba en la direcci\u00f3n correcta y si ten\u00edamos alg\u00fan consejo para mejorar el pr\u00f3ximo mes aqu\u00ed, tanto para la organizaci\u00f3n como para los grupos individuales.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n conocimos a los voluntarios del bloque 4, y fue una muy buena oportunidad para revivir la emoci\u00f3n del comienzo y escuchar algunos consejos importantes de alguien que ya se incorpor\u00f3 a las actividades.<\/p>\n

El s\u00e1bado fui con mis amigos a A Coru\u00f1a, la primera parada fue en una t\u00edpica marisquer\u00eda donde probamos algunos platos tradicionales gallegos. Luego tomamos el autob\u00fas para ir a la torre de H\u00e9rcules, y tengo que decir que fue uno de los lugares m\u00e1s hermosos que he visto desde que estoy aqu\u00ed, en la cima de la colina hac\u00eda mucho viento, pero cuando bajamos a la rosa de los vientos bajaba, hab\u00eda un clima perfecto y una vista impresionante.<\/p>\n

Como ten\u00edamos el autob\u00fas despu\u00e9s de un par de horas decidimos caminar hasta la estaci\u00f3n de autobuses, aprovechando para visitar la ciudad, fuimos a la plaza principal y tomamos un descanso para tomar un caf\u00e9 en una cafeter\u00eda antes de regresar a casa.<\/p>\n

El domingo el tiempo no nos acompa\u00f1\u00f3, pero era el t\u00edpico clima gallego con la llovizna y el viento as\u00ed que cogimos el ferry para ir a comer a Mugardos.<\/p>\n

Desde que estamos aqu\u00ed todo el mundo habla de pulpo hecho a la Mugardesa, as\u00ed que fuimos all\u00ed expresamente para probar este plato. No me decepcion\u00f3, todo estaba muy bueno, incluso si tuviera que elegir, no elegir\u00eda mariscos.<\/p>\n
