On Saturday, we went to Santiago with Agnese. We visited a lot of souvenir shops and went to the cathedral. We took some photos and saw many pilgrims who had just finished their Caminos. All of them looked really happy, and one man was even crying out of happiness. We also saw a lot of pilgrims waiting in line to get their Compostela (the certificate you receive after finishing a Camino). We also bought ice cream, but it wasn’t as good as the ice cream in Estonia or in Latvia. We also went to a nice cafe. Since the weather was hot, we wanted to drink something chilly. We decided to order ice coffee but it was a mistake. They brought us one small shot of coffee and a goblet with ice cubes. It did not taste good\u2026 We also ordered “Tarta de Santiago”. It is a must-try when you are visiting Santiago. Unfortunately, they don’t serve the small cakes in the cafes, so we couldn’t get the cute cakes with the symbol on it. Before taking the bus back to Ferrol, we walked in a nice park nearby.<\/span><\/p>\n For me, it was nice walking again. It was the first long walk I did after finishing the Camino Ingles. We walked a little bit more than 20 kilometers that day.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n ??<\/p>\n El s\u00e1bado fuimos a Santiago con Agnese. Visitamos muchas tiendas de recuerdos y fuimos a la catedral. Hicimos algunas fotos y vimos a muchos peregrinos que acababan de terminar sus Caminos. Todos se ve\u00edan muy felices, y un hombre incluso estaba llorando de felicidad. Tambi\u00e9n vimos muchos peregrinos haciendo fila para obtener su Compostela (el certificado que recibes despu\u00e9s de terminar un Camino). Tambi\u00e9n compramos helado, pero no era tan bueno como el helado en Estonia o Letonia. Tambi\u00e9n fuimos a un buen caf\u00e9. Como hac\u00eda calor, quer\u00edamos beber algo fr\u00edo. Decidimos pedir caf\u00e9 helado pero fue un error. Nos trajeron un peque\u00f1o trago de caf\u00e9 y una copa con cubitos de hielo. No sab\u00eda bien\u2026 Tambi\u00e9n pedimos Tarta de Santiago. Es algo que debes probar cuando visites Santiago. Desafortunadamente, no sirven los pasteles peque\u00f1os en los caf\u00e9s, por lo que no pudimos conseguir los lindos pasteles con el s\u00edmbolo. Antes de tomar el autob\u00fas de vuelta a Ferrol, caminamos por un bonito parque cercano.<\/span><\/p>\n Para m\u00ed, fue agradable caminar de nuevo. Fue la primera caminata larga que hice despu\u00e9s de terminar el Camino Ingl\u00e9s.
