As\u00ed que decidimos ir al centro de d\u00eda de Alzheimer en nuestra ciudad, en Lugo (AFALU). Nuestra idea inicial era\u00a0 bailar con los participantes, y ense\u00f1arles unos bailes tradicionales de nuestros pa\u00edses. Pero al final, nos tuvimos que\u00a0 adaptar a las condiciones de todos los usuarios y as\u00ed, comenzar con las presentaciones.As\u00ed, que bailamos <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kangakudumine<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (\u201ctejido de tela\u201d) de Estonia, T\u016bdali\u0146 Tagadi\u0146 de Letonia, Kari\u010dka de Eslovakia, Hasapos\u00e9rviko de Grecia, Tarantela de Italia y un baile que se parece a Zumba para Espa\u00f1a.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Las personas mayores sonre\u00edan y aplaud\u00edan al ritmo de las canciones. Uno de los mejores momentos fue cuando algunos de ellos se levantaron para bailar con nosotros. Fue muy emocionante. Una mujer de 98 a\u00f1os que se encontraba en otra sala, escuch\u00f3 la m\u00fasica y pidi\u00f3 a los trabajadores que la llevaran donde est\u00e1bamos bailando. The initial idea was to dance some of our traditional dances with the visitors of the AFALU Alzheimer\u2019s Centre. However, after learning more about the condition, we decided to make the activity presentatory. The dances we presented to the visitors were <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kangakudumine <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(\u201cweaving of fabric\u201d)<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">from Estonia, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">T\u016bdali\u0146 Tagadi\u0146<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from Latvia, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kari\u010dka <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">from Slovakia, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hasapos\u00e9rviko <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">from Greece, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tarantela <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">from Italy and a Zumba-style dance accompanying the song Madre Tierra from Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Both us and the members of the facility enjoyed our afternoon together. Many of them clapped along to the rhythm of the songs. One of our favorite moments was when some of the people got up to dance with us. One woman with a more severe form of the condition heard the music from her room and asked to come join us, and her wish was granted.
