Working With\/For The New Generation<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the last week of September, our team visited the Elementary School of A R\u00faa. Our goal was to show the children our volunteering work and bring them in a first contact with the Camino De Santiago.<\/p>\n

Trabajar con\/para la nueva generaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n

La \u00faltima semana de septiembre, nuestro equipo visit\u00f3 la Escuela Primaria de A R\u00faa. Nuestro objetivo era mostrar a los ni\u00f1os nuestro trabajo de voluntariado y acercarles un primer contacto con el Camino De Santiago.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Play to Learn<\/strong><\/p>\n

At first we wanted to give them a background of the activities we have done until this point. What better way to do it than playing with them. We divided them into doubles. One child was blindfolded and the other one was the guide. It was an alternative way to play a game of Chase.
\nAfter that and when they have put out all their energy, we showed them in a practical way how important teamwork is. How we did it? They had to make the tallest and most stable tower with their own bodies. It was an absolute success<\/p>\n

Jugar para aprender<\/strong><\/p>\n

Al principio quer\u00edamos darles un trasfondo de las actividades que hemos realizado hasta este momento. Qu\u00e9 mejor manera de hacerlo que jugando con ellos. Los dividimos en dobles. Un ni\u00f1o ten\u00eda los ojos vendados y el otro era el gu\u00eda. Era una forma alternativa de jugar un juego de caza.<\/p>\n

Posteriormente y cuando hayan puesto toda su energ\u00eda, les mostramos de forma pr\u00e1ctica lo importante que es el trabajo en equipo. \u00bfC\u00f3mo lo hicimos? Tuvieron que hacer la torre m\u00e1s alta y estable con sus propios cuerpos. Fue un \u00e9xito absoluto<\/p>\n

Who are We?<\/strong><\/p>\n

After all the games, we returned to the classroom in which, after a meditation activity for focus and relaxation, we engaged into a presentation of our volunteer work. For the children it was easier to understand since they basically did the activities themselves during the games.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQui\u00e9nes somos?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de todos los juegos, volvimos al aula en la que, despu\u00e9s de una actividad de meditaci\u00f3n para la concentraci\u00f3n y la relajaci\u00f3n, nos dedicamos a la presentaci\u00f3n de nuestro trabajo voluntario. Para los ni\u00f1os era m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de entender ya que b\u00e1sicamente ellos mismos hac\u00edan las actividades durante los juegos.<\/p>\n

Making our own Pilgrim Stamps<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, after the presentation, it was time to express our own way of how we see the Cami\u00f1o. The children were given papers and materials for painting, in order to create their own Pilgrim Stamps. No need to say their drawings were amazing and very moving.<\/p>\n

Elaboraci\u00f3n de nuestros propios Sellos Peregrinos<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finalmente, tras la presentaci\u00f3n, lleg\u00f3 el momento de expresar nuestra propia forma de ver el Cami\u00f1o. Los ni\u00f1os recibieron papeles y materiales para pintar, con el fin de crear sus propios Sellos Peregrinos. No hace falta decir que sus dibujos eran asombrosos y muy conmovedores.<\/p>\n
