Yesterday, Sunday 23 October, we had the great opportunity to walk the Ruta del Rio Donsal (Becerre\u00e0) trail in the southern part of the province of Lugo (right below the french camino) together with the experienced hikers from the association “Amigos del camino”. In fact the previous 7 October after meeting with the chief of the association, in Lugo, and listening to his fascinating stories, he invited us to join their upcoming activity the next sunday. The association is really active and well organized, almost every sunday a different activity is taking place in the surroundings of Lugo. They are usually going for a long hike in new different places every second sunday and this time we had the chance to join them! We walked together for about 15km following the river and letting our thoughts flow sharing our habits, knowledge about mushrooms, and beautiful landscapes under the rainy but breath-taking Galician panorama. Later we had a generous typical lunch all together where we could try local wine and “callos” a typical dish maden with chickpeas and pig stomach. We got to know many new useful informations about camino as well and we will definitely keep in touch for those of us that are planning to walk Camino one day. We are really thankful it was amazing!<\/p>\n

Ayer domingo 23 de octubre tuvimos la gran oportunidad de recorrer la Ruta del Rio Donsal (Becerre\u00e0) en la zona sur de la provincia de Lugo (justo debajo del camino franc\u00e9s) junto a los experimentados senderistas de la asociaci\u00f3n \u201cAmigos del camino\u201d. De hecho el pasado 7 de octubre tras reunirse con el responsable de la asociaci\u00f3n, en Lugo, y escuchar sus fascinantes historias, nos invit\u00f3 a sumarnos a su pr\u00f3xima actividad el pr\u00f3ximo domingo. La asociaci\u00f3n es muy activa y est\u00e1 muy bien organizada, casi todos los domingos tiene lugar una actividad diferente en los alrededores de Lugo. Por lo general, van a hacer una caminata larga en nuevos lugares diferentes cada segundo domingo y esta vez tuvimos la oportunidad de unirnos a ellos. Caminamos juntos durante unos 15 km siguiendo el r\u00edo y dejando fluir nuestros pensamientos compartiendo nuestras costumbres, conocimientos sobre setas y hermosos paisajes bajo el lluvioso pero sobrecogedor panorama gallego. M\u00e1s tarde comimos todos juntos un generoso almuerzo t\u00edpico donde pudimos probar el vino local y los callos, un plato t\u00edpico hecho con garbanzos y panza de cerdo. Tambi\u00e9n conocimos mucha informaci\u00f3n nueva y \u00fatil sobre el Camino y definitivamente nos mantendremos en contacto para aquellos de nosotros que planeamos caminar el Camino alg\u00fan d\u00eda. \u00a1Estamos muy agradecidos de que haya sido incre\u00edble!<\/p>\n
