?? Lalin is a small town located around 55 kilometers away from Santiago de Compostella. We are located at a beautiful ,rural, part of the town, Don Ramiro, where our only few neighbours are some sheeps, chickens, pigs, dogs, cats and a few humans. If you ask me, i am tottaly content about it. The town itself has a lot to offer; my personal favorite? The friendly locals and the delicious tapas that they offer.<\/p>\n

The caminos that go through Lalin are: Via de la Prata<\/strong>, or else, the Silver<\/strong> camino and C<\/strong>amino de Invierno,\u00a0<\/b>the winter camino, but so far we have only worked on the Silver Camino.<\/p>\n

Via de la Prata ,at least the part that we are working on, seems to combine different types of scenery. There is a big part that is inside the forest, with the trees providing natural shadow and minimizing the unbearable heat that Galicia is having during the past 2 weeks. On the contrary, there is another part that the pilgrims have to walk on the rural road that goes through the small villages of the area. It is interesting ,though, to see\u00a0 and experience the small villages, the houses and the locals.<\/p>\n

For me, the best point of our walks everytime is this small stream ,with a small graphic bridge, that you can stop and enjoy the sounds of the water and birds, the beauty of the flowing water and even cool off with the cold, fresh water of the river.<\/p>\n

One last thing that everyone seems to be loving saying these days – qu\u00e9 calor!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

??Lal\u00edn es un peque\u00f1o pueblo situado a unos 55 kil\u00f3metros de Santiago de Compostela. Estamos ubicados en una hermosa parte rural del pueblo, Don Ramiro, donde nuestros pocos vecinos son algunas ovejas, gallinas, cerdos, perros, gatos y algunos humanos. Si me preguntas, estoy totalmente contenta con eso. La ciudad en s\u00ed tiene mucho que ofrecer; La amabilidad de los lugare\u00f1os y las deliciosas tapas que ofrecen, es personalmente lo que m\u00e1s me gusta.<\/p>\n

Los caminos que pasan por Lal\u00edn son: V\u00eda de la Plata y Camino de Invierno, pero hasta ahora solo hemos trabajado en el Camino de la Plata.<\/p>\n

V\u00eda de la Plata, al menos la parte en la que estamos trabajando, parece combinar diferentes tipos de paisajes. Hay una gran parte que est\u00e1 dentro del bosque, con los \u00e1rboles dando sombra natural y minimizando el insoportable calor que est\u00e1 teniendo Galicia durante las \u00faltimas 2 semanas. Por el contrario, hay otra parte que los romeros tienen que recorrer a pie por el camino rural que discurre por los peque\u00f1os pueblos de la zona. Sin embargo, es interesante ver y experimentar los peque\u00f1os pueblos, las casas y los lugare\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Para m\u00ed, el mejor punto de nuestras caminatas siempre es este peque\u00f1o riachuelo, con un peque\u00f1o puente gr\u00e1fico, que puedes parar y disfrutar de los sonidos del agua y los p\u00e1jaros, la belleza del agua que fluye e incluso refrescarte con el fr\u00edo, fresco agua del r\u00edo.<\/p>\n

Una \u00faltima cosa que a todos parece gustarles decir en estos d\u00edas: \u00a1qu\u00e9 calor!<\/p>\n
