?? In the town of our temporary home, few hidden treasures can be found, that might not be so well-known at the beginning. Our house is located in the council of Lal\u00edn, but the part where we live is called Donramiro and has around 1000 habitants.<\/p>\n

The most interesting building and the very typical reminder of the importance of Church in the past\u00a0 is Iglesia de Donramiro or in Galician Igrexa de Santa Mar\u00eda. “Small jewel of Donramiro”, Romanesque temple whose origin dates back to medieval times ,the 12th century. The name of the Parish can be referred to\u00a0 the Gothic king Ramiro, however there are no clear evidences of it. The first written references to the church of Donramiro as Domno Ranemiri can be found from 1119.<\/p>\n

Sometimes we discover beautiful peaces of history that has magnificent athmosphere right in front of our eyes (or from the view of our balcony). The quiet and peaceful interior lets me imagine how many people came here to pray in the past and how rich and full of history can the world be if we just take one look around.<\/p>\n

?? En el pueblo de nuestro hogar temporal, se pueden encontrar tesoros escondidos, que quiz\u00e1s no sean tan conocidos al principio. Nuestra casa est\u00e1 situada en el concejo de Lal\u00edn, pero la parte donde vivimos se llama Donramiro y tiene unos 1000 habitantes.<\/p>\n

El edificio m\u00e1s interesante y un recuerdo muy t\u00edpico de la importancia de la Iglesia en el pasado, es la Iglesia de Donramiro o en gallego Igrexa de Santa Mar\u00eda. \u201cPeque\u00f1a joya de Donramiro\u201d, templo rom\u00e1nico cuyo origen se remonta a la \u00e9poca medieval, siglo XII. El nombre de la Parroquia se puede referir al rey godo Ramiro, sin embargo no existen evidencias claras de ello. Las primeras referencias escritas a la iglesia de Donramiro como Domno Ranemiri datan de 1119.<\/p>\n

A veces descubrimos hermosos fragmentos de historia que tienen un ambiente magn\u00edfico justo frente a nuestros ojos (o desde la vista de nuestro balc\u00f3n). El interior tranquilo y pac\u00edfico me permite imaginar cu\u00e1ntas personas vinieron aqu\u00ed a rezar en el pasado y cu\u00e1n rico y lleno de historia puede ser el mundo si solo echamos un vistazo alrededor.<\/p>\n
