Yesterday, as part of our volunteering, we were at the Monte de Gozo hostel, where we had interesting conversations with pilgrims about their experiences and their entire pilgrimage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Here is the story of one of them. His name is Cris, he is from South Africa, he is 77 years old and his story is beautifull:<\/p>\n

,,A brief update from the Camino pilgrim. Have walked just over 400km’s (mad I know ?) from Porto in Portugal to Santiago in Spain. Tomorrow doing the French Way in reverse through central Spain towards Leon. ?\u200d?Don’t think I’ll get there but wherever on the 1st August will bus to Madrid to fly out back home, yea ?. Every step is an experiance. Seriously. Sometimes physical and mental. People are sharing their lives. Many challenges but always get resolved. Again amazing . Not very often alone which is good at times. I have met over 15 different nationalities. The Camino does not give what you want but what you need. ?. Have walked through every land scape from the sea to the high hills. I was given new shoes (sandles) what a pleasure to walk in. Ayer, como parte de nuestro voluntariado, estuvimos en el albergue Monte de Gozo, donde tuvimos interesantes conversaciones con peregrinos sobre sus experiencias y toda su peregrinaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

,,Una breve actualizaci\u00f3n del Camino peregrino. He caminado poco m\u00e1s de 400 km (loco, lo s\u00e9) desde Oporto en Portugal hasta Santiago en Espa\u00f1a. Ma\u00f1ana haciendo el Camino Franc\u00e9s a la inversa por el centro de Espa\u00f1a direcci\u00f3n Le\u00f3n. No creo que llegue all\u00ed, pero donde sea el 1 de agosto ir\u00e9 a Madrid para volar de regreso a casa, s\u00ed. Cada paso es una experiencia. En serio. A veces f\u00edsica y mental. La gente est\u00e1 compartiendo sus vidas. Muchos retos pero siempre se resuelven. De nuevo incre\u00edble. No muy a menudo solo, lo cual es bueno a veces. He conocido a m\u00e1s de 15 nacionalidades diferentes. El Camino no te da lo que quieres sino lo que necesitas. . He caminado por todos los paisajes desde el mar hasta las altas colinas.
