?? Monday 18th<\/b><\/p>\n

The temperatures finally dropped in Lal\u00edn and the cold let us return to the Camino on Monday 18th. This time we decided to not go to the Silver Camino, but instead to the Winter one. A lot of people, and even the locals, say that is one of the most beautiful paths because of its amazing nature and green scenery. We walked through the fog and started cleaning until the pilgrim hostel in Bendoiro, where I started contributing with my Spanish support. Here I had the opportunity to register, show the surroundings to six pilgrims from different nationalities, and also indicate the accommodation installations. I learned many things that are going to be applicated in my future visits to the hostel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday 20th<\/b><\/p>\n

We went back to the Silver Camino, but this time with a different perspective of walking and empathy. We wanted to experience what it feels like to do the Camino as a blind person, for that reason we used blind folders in pairs in order to not just have this experience, but also to know what are the main obstacles that these people have in the Camino and report them so it can be fixed. Later in this activity, we started walking and took pictures of the trash containers so we can pin them on the map of the Silver Camino. These two activities are planned to create more development in the Camino de Santiago, in terms of inclusivity and sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n

??\u00a0Lunes 18<\/strong><\/p>\n

Las temperaturas por fin bajaron en Lal\u00edn y el fr\u00edo nos dej\u00f3 volver al Camino el lunes 18. Esta vez decidimos no ir al Camino de la Plata, sino al de Invierno. Mucha gente, e incluso los lugare\u00f1os, dicen que es uno de los senderos m\u00e1s bonitos por su incre\u00edble naturaleza y paisajes verdes. Caminamos a trav\u00e9s de la niebla y comenzamos a limpiar hasta el albergue de peregrinos en Bendoiro, donde comenc\u00e9 a contribuir con mi apoyo espa\u00f1ol. Aqu\u00ed tuve la oportunidad de registrarme, mostrar el entorno a seis peregrinos de diferentes nacionalidades, y tambi\u00e9n indicar las instalaciones de alojamiento. Aprend\u00ed muchas cosas que se van a aplicar en mis futuras visitas al albergue.<\/p>\n

Mi\u00e9rcoles 20<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volvimos al Camino de la Plata, pero esta vez con una perspectiva diferente del andar y la empat\u00eda. Quer\u00edamos experimentar lo que se siente hacer el Camino siendo una persona invidente, por eso utilizamos carpetas ciegas por parejas para no solo tener esta experiencia, sino tambi\u00e9n saber cu\u00e1les son los principales obst\u00e1culos que tienen estas personas en el camino. Camino y rep\u00f3rtalos para que se pueda arreglar. M\u00e1s adelante en esta actividad, comenzamos a caminar y tomamos fotos de los contenedores de basura para poder fijarlos en el mapa del Camino de la Plata. Estas dos actividades est\u00e1n planificadas para crear m\u00e1s desarrollo en el Camino de Santiago, en t\u00e9rminos de inclusi\u00f3n y sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
