A visit to the Arzua Town Hall

?? Last wednesday, on the 10th of August we visited the Town Hall in Arzua to make sure the town officials know what we are doing here. We spoke with the mayor about our backgrounds, intentions and goals and he seemed happy that we are here to help.

The mayor also explained a bit about the local culture and how things are done here and was kind enough to actually give us some gifts. First one being a sargadelos plate for each of us – which simply explained is a really nicely decorated ceramic plate. Sargadelos are famous across Spain for their clean, geometric designs based on celtic traditions. Second gift being the ability to visit the local pool free of charge, which can be a nice experience in this hot weather.
