Midterm evaluation in Santiago de Compostela

?? Last Friday, on the 30th of September, the midterm evaluation in Santiago de Compostela took place. It was joyful to see other members of the project again. Every group had the opportunity to show what they had achieved during September and talk about their plans for the next month. We also played many interesting games that allowed us to discuss the worries and joys that had appeared this far and try to find solutions to any problems that had arisen.

During noon we had the wonderful opportunity to visit the city council of Santiago de Compostela where we met several important local politicians and looked around the beautiful historic palace of Raxoi. We had pictures taken with the representatives of the city and all the volunteers received a drawing of the palace of Raxoi by the artist Joaquin Gonzalez Dorao as a gift.

We ate lunch at the vegan restaurant Clem Cafe and saw how tasty and accessible vegan cooking can be, while at the same time being a more sustainable and eco-friendly choice.

At the end of the day, some of us stayed in Santiago de Compostela while others returned to their corresponding locations of activity or hurried to the bus to reach the destinations of their weekend trips. However, the midterm evaluation in this beautiful city reminded us of its unique charm, and several of us are making plans to return there soon.
