This week: in Triacastela

??  When talking about the last week it’s best to start from the weekend, when all of the volunteers gathered in Santiago for a meeting. We reflected on our experiences and suggested improvements to the project. It was nice to see all of the people together again. Also played a match of basketball with some nice (but a tad bit too athletic) pilgrims and ate a delicious meal.

The workdays were also productive. We walked the camino multiple times: cleaning and looking for spots with limited accessibility. On Wednesday we had an intercultural evening with the pilgrims, played a Spanish board game and shared our stories and experiences. It was fun.

?? Cuando se habla de la última semana, es mejor comenzar con el fin de semana, cuando todos los voluntarios nos juntamos en Santiago para una reunión. Reflexionamos sobre nuestras experiencias y sugerimos mejoras para el proyecto. Fue agradable ver a toda la gente junta de nuevo. También jugué un partido de baloncesto con algunos peregrinos muy simpáticos (pero demasiado atléticos) y comí una comida deliciosa.

Los días de trabajo también fueron productivos. Hicimos el camino varias veces: limpiando y buscando lugares con poca accesibilidad. El miércoles tuvimos una velada intercultural con los peregrinos, jugamos un juego de mesa en español y compartimos nuestras historias y experiencias. Fue divertido.
